June has descended upon us!!!
June 3, 2011
June is here and it means I get to swing (or rock) back into action. St. Helena takes the stage on June 6th at Brighton Music Hall. I get to make my “singing” (if you can call it that) debut thanks to the (imminent) arrival of Henry Teahan. Parlour Bells dresses up for some fun on June 17th at the Rosebud in Somerville. And speaking of Parlour Bells, there will be some intense drum tracks laid down for an upcoming release at the end of the month. Lastly, The Luxury will be gathering again in its rehearsal basement to tighten up and shine the music for our upcoming send off shows in July. Good to busy beating those skins!
July will be full of constant drumming, so stay tuned for updates and show dates as well.
Saturday May 7th The Luxury take the stage for a benefit show at Copperfield’s in Boston. This will be our second to last show before a needed break for the band as we relax, write, and generally get ourselves together. Come on out, help the Red Cross, and enjoy the music while you’re at it!
On Sunday May 8th I am excited to say I will be going into the studio with my 18 inch bass drum (and the rest of the set) to lay down BIG drum sounds for Parlour Bells. We’ll be working on some new(ish) music to be released some time this summer!
And not to be outdone, St. Helena continues on its mad run of writing new songs. We’ve got at least 3-4 songs almost ready for debut, and they just keep pouring in. Patrick and Magen are on a writing tear. Hold onto your hats and be sure to come out to the next shows. Good new stuff!

It’s official. I am happy to say I am playing with St. Helena! We are writing new music, relearning old stuff and generally having a grand old time. Keep your eyes out for new shows and upcoming events!
And Parlour Bells will be going into the studio to get started on some new music as well.

Saturday was the start of a monstrous 5 days of music!
St. Helena played an awesome show at The Rosebud!
Sunday – Parlour Bells had one of those magical rehearsals in preparation for Wednesday night.
Tonight The Luxury gets back at it to prep for Thursday night.

Busy Month of March

This weekend marks the start of a busy month of shows. Super excited about Saturday’s show at Church where I’ll be playing with The Luxury AND St. Helena. A double dose of drums. The Luxury has NYC , Worcester, and Tewksbury on the books as well later in the month. And St. Helena has asked me to sit in with them again at the end of March. And just for good measure I’ll be playing drums on a few Tori Amos songs as covered by the lovely, talented and divine Magen Tracy. Now THIS is what I call a good month!

Writing with The Luxury continues. The new ideas are slowly coming into new songs.
This week is full of musical excitement with Parlour Bells prepping for “The Winter Formal at Church of Boston” on 2/18/2011 and This Blue Heaven prepping for my last show with them at The Middle East Upstairs on 2/19. Sure to be a busy week of music and memories.
